Cat Boiz

Cat Boiz is a track straight from my love for Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World, one of my favorite anime series. If you’ve seen it, you know how wild the story gets—Subaru, the main character, is thrown into a magical world where he can rewind time every time he dies. But one of the moments that stuck with me the most is when he first meets Felix Argyle and immediately assumes he’s a girl. That scene cracked me up, and I knew I had to capture that energy in a song.

I wanted to make something playful and weird—just like Felix—so I built the track around these cat-like bass sounds that feel just as mischievous as he is. I even pulled a vocal sample from that first meeting with Subaru to tie everything together. Cat Boiz is my way of bringing anime inspiration into my music, blending my love for bass with the fun, chaotic world of Re:Zero. Hope you vibe with it as much as I do!
